Who we are
Bir Tawil is a 2,060 km² (795.4 sq mi) stretch of land located along the border between Egypt and Sudan. It is recognized as terra nullius, meaning it is unclaimed by any nation. In fact, it is the only habitable piece of land on Earth that remains without a governing state.
However this does not paint an accurate picture of the full story. The reality is that Bir Tawil is a real place inhabited with real people. Sudanese people have lived in Bir Tawil since before British Colonization and we are not going to accept modern colonization under the guise of "terra nullius" land. Tribes such as the Ababda still reside in Bir Tawil.

This is where our vision takes root. We are an organization of Sudanese youth, led by HSH The Princess of Bir Tawil, Mary Yar, dedicated to creating the only real feasible solution to the Bir Tawil Problem. Our goal is to establish a small, free, city-state with limited government that ensures true democracy and liberty for all.
